Our house

The Little Lion is a delightful place, offering views of all that is beautiful – the mountain, the lake, and the bustle of the city. Amidst it all, you’ll find us: a city hotel with eight rooms, a salon, and two distinct outlooks – one onto the quiet city garden in the courtyard and towards the Pfänder, the other towards the lively Kornmarkt square just beyond our door.

The design of our rooms follows a clear concept, yet each space stands out in its details and carries its own unique character. The architecture of the building reflects the same spirit – it’s one of a kind. Designed by the renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron.

Our garden

It’s like a little revelation. When you enter our house from the square, you have no idea what lies beyond. As summer approaches, our courtyard city garden transforms into a small green oasis. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and a good book. The garden is reserved for our house guests – a peaceful retreat. Sometimes it gets a bit livelier when the children of the house are around.
